Custer State Park - SD

Yesterday's drive through South Dakota was hours of more corn fields then sunflower fields - which were pretty cool - and then hay for as far as you could see.
I don't know how they live out here, it's miles and miles of nothing, no trees, no people, no neighbors, and I bet the winters are brutal! Then the terrain started to change into the "Badlands" - rocks shooting out of the ground. Slowly we started to see some trees and then we got to Custer State Park which is in a nice little forest just outside of Mount Rushmore. We saw Buffalo and Bighorn Sheep on our way in to our campsite which is very secluded and nice.
And for those that asked: Last night the temp was 47 degrees and the high today got to 88 degrees. Crazy huh?
